"I never thought I would be able to say that training sessions were a joy ­ but now, shockingly, they are!!! I've been working with Charlene for the last 7 months - She has a deeply holistic approach to her work, and because she is so well versed in so many different disciplines, I have never felt so healthy.

Every week is different... Sometimes we jog, sometimes work with weights, sometimes aqua-aerobics, sometimes a step class, sometimes a stretch class, sometimes yoga, sometimes pilates - and occasionally a massage. She is an amazing woman - incredibly skilled, thoughtful, perceptive, relaxed, tough, gentle and sensitive.

She took the trouble to find out exactly what I wanted to do and acheive, and exactly what I didn¹t want to do or acheive. And as a result, I have never cancelled an appointment with her, infact, I almost look forward to them. "It was about four months to my wedding and although I exercised regularly at the gym and considered my diet to be fairly healthy, I was finding it hard to lose weight. I needed help. A friend at work put me in touch with Charlene who she said would be able to help. My main goals were to improve my fitness, tone up and improve my skin. We got together and discussed my diet, which I quickly realised was not helping me to lose weight, plus I was drinking far too much alcohol and caffeine and not doing quite the right exercise. Charlene then suggested a feasible regime which included; changing my diet, varying and increasing my exercise levels. I met with Charlene once a week to do exercise and committed to at least two more exercise sessions on my own per week. I also stuck to the suggested diet and cut down on my caffeine and alcohol intake. Charlene supported me every step of the way with her brilliant advice and positive outlook on life. By three months into the programme I not only felt better but also my PMS symptoms had significantly reduced, and I looked so much better. I had lost inches around my waist, hips and thighs and my double chin was vanishing. The appearance of my skin really improved as well, and my hair was even looking better. Consequently I looked how I wanted to look on my wedding day, but also I have learnt lessons on leading a healthy lifestyle which will stay with me forever."

"Exercise and I are two words that do not go hand in hand, but having had 2 babies in close succession, and not being able to fit into any of my pre-pregnancy clothes forced me to take some drastic action. Charlene was recommended to me, and I gave her a time frame of 6 weeks to get me in shape before the much needed holiday in the sun.
Her initial consultation gave me the focus required to monitor my diet and tweak it so that it did not become totally restricted, but instead became healthy with a few treats here and there, and was easy for me to stick to and totally tailored to my own requirements. Her exercise program was also just challenging enough, without being painful, and she pushed me to my limits so that after just a few sessions I really felt I was progressing. The program was also diverse, ranging from outdoor activities to weights and many pilates based exercises, and for someone who hated exercise I was pleasantly surprised that each session passed quickly. This was aided by her constant words of support and encouragement, and the knowledge that all the tasks were totally safe. Needless to say, after just 6 weeks, I felt much fitter, had got down to the target weight, but more importantly there was a remarkable difference between the initial physical measurements and the final ones...most important of all being I could fit back into those skinny jeans!
I would recommend Charlene to anyone who wants to enjoy their exercise, achieve realistic results and feel totally secure in being in the hands of a true professional."
